Born in Fort, Polk Louisiana, and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, Drew Schifino emerged as one of the most prolific scorers in the history of Pennsylvania high school basketball at Penn Hills. His ability to find the basket from anywhere on the floor earned him a scholarship at West Virginia University (WVU).
At WVU, Schifino didn’t just play; he made history. He led the Mountaineers in scoring and became a household name in the Big East, averaging 20.1 points per game during his junior season and setting records for consecutive double-figure scoring games.
Following his collegiate dominance, Drew transitioned into a successful 10-year professionalcareer spanning across Europe. He competed at the highest levels in Germany, Portugal, Poland, and Switzerland, consistently ranking among the top scoring leaders in every league he joined.
